Shoot Flames with your personal
Flamethrower, FlameShift by

BahnTech’s
newest product FlameShift will throw flames out of
your exhaust during gear changes and when
activated by an in vehicle button. This
system monitors your Throttle Position Sensor and
RPM to automatically throw flames when the
accelerator transitions from full-throttle to
closed. This happens naturally in spirited
driving when shifting, or can be activated by
depressing the throttle momentary and releasing.
The results are very impressive with several feet
of flames leaving your exhaust system. On
some vehicles there is a loud explosion that
accompanies the flames. On some vehicles
there is only flames.
This system
can also be fitted to Motorcycles. On
motorcycles you can get 1 to 2 feet of blue
flames.

FlameShift is not street legal and can only be used for car shows or
other off road events. |

FlameShift
Installation Pictorial |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Does FlameShift need to be installed? |
| Yes. You will need to have at least 4
of the 8 wires connected to 12v, Ground, RPM wire, and TPS (Throttle
Position Sensor) Wire.
A speed shop should be able to completely install and test an
FlameShift module in less than 1hr. It is easier to install than
an aftermarket radio in some cars. |
|
| Will FlameShift work on my car? |
| Most likely. FlameShift works on most
vehicles. FlameShift works much better on vehicles without
catalytic converters. Catalytic converters burn fuel in the
exhaust and will reduce or completely prevent flames. FlameShift
works on Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles. |
|
| What if my car is not listed
at Rostra? |
| Get your workshop manual and find
the ECU on your cars wiring schematic [Chilton's, Factory workshop
manuals, etc] and see if there is a TPS and RPM wire. These
wires are usually connected to the ECU. |
|
|
|
| How does FlameShift work? |
| FlameShift temporarily cuts the signal to
your spark plugs, thus letting the engine pump fuel mixed with air into
your exhaust system. This air/fuel mixture is then ignited at your
exhaust tip with standard spark plugs mounted near the tip. |
|
| How is the unit calibrated
for my TPS (Throttle position Sensor) and RPM? |
| The FlameShift system automatically
calibrates both TPS and RPM based on min max readings collected during
regular driving. This makes for a simple installation with no
calibration needed. |
|
| What makes FlameShift a better
value than the competition? |
| FlameShift is the only Flamethrower system
that is completely automatic. FlameShift monitors your driving and
automatically shoots flames when the conditions are right. The
system can also be manually activated like our competition. 99% of
our users prefer the automated method. |
